Mandi@EABS

This event was an idea that was shaped to perfection by Dr. T. Prasad to help every student understand management theory in practice. Mandi serves as a platform for students to apply classroom learning to real life situations and maximize pre-determined sales objectives, and in the process achieve social and educational
goals.
Stage1: (Introduction) Understand the product description. Analysis of the market trends in Pune and planning out strategies based on consumer behavior and their buying trends.
Stage2: (On the Streets of Pune) Time to head to the markets where actual learning takes place. Here the students get to understand the dynamics involved in interactions among the product, the prospect and the sales person in the selling process.
Stage 3: (Mandi manthan) Analysis of the previous days outing where students share their first hand experience and learn from the same.
All the proceeds from this event would be donated to NAVNIRMITI, an NGO that has provided the toys for the event. Navnirmiti is a non profit, self-reliant organization working with the objective of universalizing the quality math and science education. It reaches out to all those children who don’t have access to a good education and has developed a simple yet complete classroom kit in order to teach primary level maths in a fun and creative way. Every year Navnirmiti visits schools, organizes and holds exhibitions to promote its learning tools and toys.
At the last day of Mandi three teams were chosen to be best teams amongst the crowd.

The first team comprised of

I used to see the Sky with love,
Gazing my dreams above;
It’s your gentle touch and warm embrace,
Made this Crow Into a Dove.
Spreading my wings of desire,
Passion of heart burning like fire;
Took Off the ground, kissing the sky,
With you by my side, together we fly.
My Spirits Floats to a Part,
I Feel the Beating of My Heart;
Responsibilities I Bear, In This One Year,
With You Flying Near, Why Should I Fear?
My Being Trembles With Delight,
Now I Am Ready For the Flight;
Ready to Fly, Ready To Tear the Sky;
Sun or Rain, Day or Light.
Leaders Are Many, Teachers Are Few;
Inspiration Has a New Face
And That Is You.

Teachers day celeberation

A teacher is like a candle - it consumes itself to light the way for others. 5th September, it is this day we celebrate as teacher's day and so did we in our campus at ZCBI-EABS classroom. Having invited all our beloved teachers including our director Nikhil Agarwal, Global HR head Ms Prameela , Tarun ,Prachi, Tanya ,and other staff members of the college , a modest event was organised by whole ZCBIian family to seek the blessings from the honourable teachers and express our gratitude towards them.

The programme started with a sheer rock show by our very own ZCBI -EABS Band, which just enchanted such a spell that the whole of the atmosphere just blasted with absolute enthusiasm. It was followed by a poem composed by a student from our class which touched the heart of every individual and dignified the virtuous image of teachers. The show stealers were the mimicry artists, whose splendid performance filled the hall with joy and laughter.

The proceedings of the show eventually ended with cake cutting ceremony, and all the teachers obliged the students by accepting small token of love and honour from the ZCBI students.

This momentary event gave us an opportunity to strengthen our dignified bond with our teachers. It also gave one and all some moments to cherish in their busy, competitive, ever jostling, hard run Race of Life.
